Nighttime Resurfacing along Route 322 in Southington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 322 in Southington beginning Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.26 mile segment of Route 322 from the access to eastbound I-84 to the underpass of Route 10 (Cheshire Road) in Southington. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 to Friday, May 8, 2020. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Sunday, May 10, 2020 to Friday, May 15, 2020.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2019 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 322 from the access to eastbound I-84 to the underpass of Route 10 (Cheshire Road) in Southington. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

Nighttime Pavement Marking Project on Various State Routes in Greater Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime pavement marking project will be performed on State Routes in greater Hartford, beginning Monday, May 11, 2020.

The project consists of epoxy pavement marking applications on center lines, shoulder lines and handwork on State Routes within District 1. This project is scheduled to occur Monday, May 11, 2020 to Monday, November 30, 2020. No work will be performed the day before or day after all State recognized holidays.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel, sign patterns, cones, and truck mounted attenuators will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday) on secondary and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. expressways

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will continue on Route 10 in Cheshire through Friday, May 8, 2020.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.39 miles of Route 10 in Cheshire.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2020 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 10 from the Hamden Town Line to .10 mile north of Kings Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for paving this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 150 in Wallingford – Sunday, May 3, through Friday, May 15, 2020.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.05 miles of Route 150 in Wallingford. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, May 3, 2020 through Friday, May 15, 2020. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, May 3, 2020 through Thursday, May 7, 2020. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, May 10, 2020 through Friday, May 15, 2020.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2020 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 150 from the South Elm Street to .05 mile south of River Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).
