Oversize / Overweight Permitting System Scheduled to be Offline for 7 Hours to Facilitate System Upgrade No Permits to be Issued During Outage The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 3 PM, and ending on Thursday, October 12, at 10 PM, the online Oversize/Overweight Vehicle Permitting System will be offline and unavailable for users while the system is upgraded. No permits can be generated during the scheduled outage. Users are urged to obtain any necessary permitting prior to the scheduled outage.
