Traffic Shifts on I-95 in Stratford and Milford for Next Stage of Moses Wheeler Bridge Project

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that two major traffic shifts are scheduled in the coming weeks to realign Interstate 95 north and southbound travel lanes to allow for the demolition of the existing northbound lanes of the Moses Wheeler Bridge in Stratford and Milford.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will conduct a Public Information Meeting concerning the proposed construction of the Charter Oak Greenway Shared Use Path in the Towns of Manchester and Bolton, Connecticut, on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Bolton Town Hall, Bolton, Connecticut. An informal question and answer session will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a formal design presentation at 7:00 p.m.

Connecticut Department of Transportation Request for Public Comments for Project No. 76-193, Intersection Improvements on I-84 Exit 63 Eastbound on/off Ramps with Route 30 and Route 83 in Manchester, Connecticut

This project was presented at a public informational meeting held on May 17, 2012 at the Lincoln Center, Manchester. The project will require temporarily closing portions of two trails associated with the Hockanum River Linear Park during project construction: the Union Pond Hiking Trail and the Oakland Hiking Trail.
