CTrides HELPS COMMUTERS FIND AVAILABLE RAIL PARKING AT SELECT NEW HAVEN LINE STATIONS

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) today announced a new initiative to help commuters find available parking at rail stations on the New Haven Line. Many riders may not be aware that up to 500 parking spaces are available at both the Bridgeport and Fairfield Metro railroad stations on the heavily traveled commuter rail line.

Daytime Blasting Operation Resumes along Interstate 95, Exits 14 & Exit 15 in Norwalk

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that daytime blasting operations are scheduled to resume on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 along the shoulders of I-95 in Norwalk between Exit 14 (Route 1 interchange) and Exit 15 (Route 7 interchange). Traffic stoppages will be occurring between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to remove rock in the area of construction.
