ConnDOT eAlert: Construction News from the Connecticut Department of Transportation

Project No. 0050-0219 , Pavement Preservation on Interstate 95, Fairfield and Bridgeport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation's (Department) Office of Engineering is implementing a pavement preservation project for the 2016 construction season. The purpose of this program is to enhance pavement performance by using cost-effective treatments to extend the service life of the existing pavements. A section of I-95 in Fairfield and Bridgeport has been identified as a candidate for this program.

MOTORIST ADVISORY - Full Directional Weekend Closure Scheduled on the William H. Putnam Bridge (Route 3) over the Connecticut River in the Towns of Wethersfield and Glastonbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the upcoming FULL NORTHBOUND DIRECTIONAL WEEKEND CLOSURE of the William H. Putnam Bridge (Route 3 over the Connecticut River). The northbound closure (Wethersfield heading to Glastonbury) will take place the upcoming weekend of July 17th to July 20th, weather permitting, beginning at 8:00 PM Friday night and ending at 5:00 AM Monday morning.
