REVISED - Detour to Begin for Advance Utility Work for Safety Improvement Project on Route 133 in Bridgewater

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 133 will be closed in the Town of Bridgewater beginning July 9, 2016, through July 19, 2016. The closure/detour of route 133 is necessary to facilitate utility work in advance of DOT Project 16-98 which will commence next year.

Lane Reduction on I-84 Eastbound for the Rehabilitation of Bridges 03311, 03312, 03313, 03320, & 03322 (I-84 & Rt. 72 Interchange) in Plainville and New Britain

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing I-84 Eastbound will be reduced from three (3) lanes to two (2) lanes on Bridge 3312 which carries I-84 over Route 72 & 372 in Plainville / New Britain from July 5, 2016, through August 31, 2016.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that activities relating to the relocation of I-95 Northbound lanes to the new bridge over Water Street in New Haven are expected to cause delays throughout the I-95 New Haven Corridor during the weekend of Thursday, July 14 through Saturday, July 16, 2016. Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.

Road Closure and Detour of Route 147 in Middlefield for the Rehabilitation of Bridge 02719 (Route 147 over Lyman Meadow Brook)

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work is starting for the rehabilitation of bridge 02719 on Route 147 over Lyman Meadow Brook beginning July 11, 2016. A full road closure of Route 147 at Lyman Meadow Brook will be implemented to complete the replacement of the existing bridge. A detour will be in effect between July 11, 2016 and July 28, 2016.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled weekend closure of Route 68 in Naugatuck to facilitate ongoing construction activities related to the replacement of Bridge Number 00596 which carries Route 68 over Route 8, S.R. 710, Metro-North Railroad and Naugatuck River in Naugatuck. The closure will begin on Friday, July 8 at 8:00 PM, and the roadway will reopen on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 5:00 AM.
