Pavement Preservation Project in Development of Route 220 in the Town of Enfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is developing plans to improve a section of Route 220 in the Town of Enfield. The project involves the milling and placement of a two-inch Hot Mix Asphalt overlay on a section of Route 220 approximately between Polomba Drive and Peerless Way, to extend the service life of the existing pavement.

Update on New Haven Line Rail Service

Regular service is now being provided on the New Haven rail line and its New Canaan branch. Service remains suspended on the Waterbury and Danbury branches as a result of Hurricane Irene.
