The Connecticut Department of Transportation's Office of Engineering is developing plans for the rehabilitation of existing salt sheds on Route 12 in Preston, on Industrial Park Road in Putnam, and on Route 52 & 200 in Thompson. The main purpose of this project is to perform maintenance repairs to aging salt sheds.
