REMINDER: Flower Street in Hartford to be Closed to Vehicular Traffic
Hartford-area motorists are reminded that Flower Street in Hartford will be permanently closed to motor vehicle traffic at the railroad crossing beginning Monday, December 3, 2012. The street will remain open for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, but Flower Street will no longer be a through route connecting Capitol Avenue and Farmington Avenue. Vehicular traffic will be directed to use Broad Street, Sigourney Street or Laurel Street.

Utility Project on I-95 North and Southbound in Waterford
The utility project consists of the installation of overhead transmission lines. Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures to occur on I-95 North and Southbound between Exit 81 (Waterford Parkway) and Exit 82 (Route 85) in Waterford. This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, December 5, 2012. This project is being performed under an Encroachment Permit for CL&P and will require use of a helicopter to install the overhead transmission lines.
