Credit Cards Now Accepted on Danbury Branch Rail Line
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) today announced that commuters on the Danbury Branch of the New Haven rail line may now use credit cards to purchase tickets on board the train. It is part of a pilot project before opening up the entire New Haven Line to credit card usage next year.

Stratford Railroad Station Parking Lot Expansion
The first section of the reconstructed parking lot at the Stratford railroad station has been completed and is now open, providing 145 spaces. The remaining sections of the lot will open in the spring of 2015 and will provide a total of 309 spaces, compared with 122 today.
