I-84 Waterbury Construction Update

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that on Friday night, December 1, at 9:30 PM, the I-84 Westbound Exit 25 off-ramp will be closed for work to tie-in the off-ramp with the new eastern portion of Scott Road Bridge. Westbound Exit 25-bound traffic will detour at Westbound Exit 25A (the Austin Road exit). The detour route is as follows:

I-95 Lane Closures in Stamford for the Rehabilitation of Bridge 0032 over Metro North Railroad

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that occasional lane and shoulder closures will occur on I-95 NB and SB between Exit 8 & 9 in Stamford between 7PM and 5AM over the next six weeks, beginning on November 29, 2017. The closures are necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of Bridge 0032 over Metro North Railroad.

Connecticut Department of Transportation Announces Additional Free Parking, Including Downtown New Britain, for CTfastrak Customers

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced the availability of additional free parking options for CTfastrak customers. CTfastrak customers can park for free in in downtown New Britain at the Szczesny Garage starting Monday, November 27, and a new overflow lot has been added across the street from East Street Station in New Britain.

Project No. 161-141 – Safety and Operational Improvements on Route 7 (Danbury Road) at Grumman Hill Road in Wilton

The Connecticut Department of Transportation's Highway Design Unit will be holding a public informational meeting regarding the safety and operational improvements on Route 7 (Danbury Road) at Grumman Hill Road in Wilton. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at the Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road, Wilton, Connecticut. A design presentation will start at 7:00 p.m. and a question and answer period immediately following. The snow date for this meeting will be on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
