Nighttime Resurfacing on Route 68 in Naugatuck

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 68 (Bridge St), SR 723 (Union St., Golden Ct.) & SR 710 (North Main St.) in Naugatuck, Wednesday, August 28, through Friday, September 20, 2019. No work will be performed over the Labor Day weekend. 

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures with alternating one-way Traffic on Routes 68, SR 723 & SR 710. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

Nighttime Roadway Milling and Drainage Repair Project at I-395 Exit 45 off ramp in Putnam

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime roadway milling and drainage repair project will be performed at the Exit 45 off ramp to Kennedy Drive from I-395 Northbound in Putnam, overnight Monday-Tuesday, August 19-20, 2019. Rain date will be August 20-21, 2019.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect a ramp closure to occur at the Exit 45 off ramp to Kennedy Drive from I-395 Northbound in Putnam.  The ramp closure will be in effect from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  The following detour will be in place:  Exit 46 Northbound, left onto Heritage Hill Rd., left onto Exit 46 for I-395 Southbound, to Exit 45 Southbound to Kennedy Drive.  Crash attenuator vehicles and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour.  A variable message board will be set up prior to the work beginning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

Resurfacing along Route 159 (East St. South) in Suffield and Windsor Locks

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.94-mile segment of Route 159 in Suffield, Tuesday, August 20, through Friday, September 6, 2019. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday).

The second week of paving will be scheduled day work 9/02/19 to 9/06/19. Scheduled hours of day work will be 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday through Friday).

Nighttime Resurfacing Project along Route 68, SR 723 & SR 710 in Naugatuck

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 68 (Bridge St), SR 723 (Union St., Golden Ct.) and SR 710 (North Main St.) in Naugatuck, Tuesday, September 3, through Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a combined .98 mile segment of Route 68 from RT 63 to SR 723, SR 723 from North Main St to end SR 723, SR 710 from SR 723 to Hopkin St. in Naugatuck.

Closure of Route 34 in from Route 111 to Bridge Street

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 34 will be closed from      Route 111 in Monroe to Route 110 in Shelton for the construction of the Derby Pump Station, Friday, August 16, through Monday, august 19, 2019.

The contractor's work will be consist of setting a crane on Route 34 in the vicinity of Cemetery Road to construct the new pump station.  Route 34 will be closed to through traffic and tractor trailers.  Posted detours will be in effect.  Local traffic will be allowed on Route 34 at various locations between the Route 111 and State Route 712 (Bridge Street) while avoiding the crane operations.  The work is anticipated to continue until Monday, August 19, 2019.

Motorists can expect Route 34 to be closed from Route 111 to State Route 712 (Bridge Street) from Friday, August 16, 2019 at 8:00 PM to Monday, August 19, 2019 at 5:00 AM.

Nighttime Resurfacing along Route 1 - Boston Post Rd - in Milford

 

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project

will be performed on a 2.24-mile segment of Route 1 in Milford, Sunday, August 18, through Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

     No work will occur from 6:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, through Monday, September 2, due to the Labor Day holiday. Work will resume at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2019 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 1 from Route 121 to the Orange Town Line.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  (Sunday night through Friday morning)
