Groundbreaking Event For Central Connecticut's Link to the Regional Transit System and Introduction of a New Public Transportation Branding Campaign To Take Place On Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 2 P.M., At The Future Parkville Station Site, Hartford, CT

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will hold the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony of Connecticut's first rapid transit system, CTfastrak, on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the future Parkville Station located at the corner of Francis Avenue and Park Street, Hartford, CT. This project was designated the New Britain-Hartford Busway during the planning stage. The new elements of the statewide public transportation branding campaign created under the "CTrides" name will also be unveiled during the event as well.
