Web Version     Connecticut Department of Transportation Nighttime Joint and Crack Sealing on Route 15 in Trumbull-Stratford and I-95 in Fairfield Posted on October 30 , 2019 The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime joint and crack sealing operation will continue on Route 15 Northbound/Southbound in Trumbull/Stratford and Interstate 95 Northbound in Fairfield through Friday, November 1, 2019.  This project consists of joint and crack sealing a 2.37 mile segment of Route 15 Northbound/Southbound in Trumbull/Stratford and a 3.90 mile segment of Interstate 95 Northbound in Fairfield. This work is being performed by Annseal Inc.   LANE CLOSURE INFO Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 Northbound/Southbound from end overpass Route 8 to Exit 53 (Route 110) and Interstate 95 Northbound from the Westport Town Line to the begin overpass New England Avenue.  Traffic control patterns and crash units will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning). Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday). The project consists of installing guide rail and an impact attenuator system on Route 9 Southbound at Exit 2 in Old Saybrook. This work is being performed by Total Fence LLC. LANE CLOSURE INFO: Motorists can expect a shoulder closure to occur at this location.  Two (2) crash attenuator vehicles and a signing pattern will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Wednesday – Thursday).
