Westbound I-84 to CLOSE at CT-NY Border Sept. 21 and 22 for Bridge Project
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Interstate 84 westbound will be CLOSED at the Connecticut-New York border from 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 through Sunday, September 22, 2013, for a bridge project. The westbound closure is expected to significantly impact streets in the city of Danbury, especially near Exits 2 and 1. Motorists are cautioned that extensive delays may occur along I-84 and the detour roadways that include Route 6.
