Rehabilitation of Bridge Number 00947, Route 34 over Naugatuck River in the Town of Derby

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work for the second stage of construction is scheduled to begin Monday, August 25, 2014 for the rehabilitation of bridge number 00947, Route 34, Main Street, over the Naugatuck River in the town of Derby. Westbound Route 34 lanes will be shifted south to the center of the bridge, while the northern portion of the bridge is being reconstructed. This lane configuration is expected to be in place until the Spring of 2015.
