Upgrades to Pedestrian Control Features at Traffic Control Signals in Various Central Connecticut Towns

The Department of Transportation (Department) is developing plans to upgrade pedestrian control features at 45 existing State maintained traffic control signals to include countdown pedestrian indications and accessible pedestrian signals and detectors in the cities/towns of Berlin, Bloomfield, Cheshire, East Hartford, Enfield, Hartford, Manchester, Meriden, New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Rocky Hill, Southington, Vernon, West Hartford, Wethersfield, and Windsor.
