Five Day Closure and Detour Scheduled for Route 1 in Old Saybrook for Bridge Replacement Activities
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 1 in Old Saybrook will be closed and a detour will be implemented for five consecutive days beginning Friday, November 10, 2017, at 7:00 PM, to Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 5:00 AM. The closure and detour is necessary while the demolition and construction of the new bridge is performed (Bridge 01890 – Route 1 over Center Brook).
