Public Meeting: Implementation of 'Road Diet' (roadway reconfiguration) on U.S. Route 5 in Enfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will be hosting a Public Informational Meeting on Wednesday June 12, 2019, regarding a proposed "road diet" on U. S. Route 5 (Enfield Street) between Grant Street and University Place. A "road diet" is a reconfiguration of roadway markings to allow better bicycle and pedestrian access and safety.
