The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in North Stonington, Monday night, June 8 through Monday morning, June 15, 2020.
The project consists of concrete repairs to Bridge #01812 which carries I-95 over Route 49 in the town of North Stonington.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2016 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in the town of North Stonington between Exits 92 off ramp in the northbound direction and Exit 92 on ramp in the southbound direction. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am, Monday evening through Friday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
