Maintenance Work Being Performed by FirstLight on the Stevenson Dam to Require Closure and Traffic Detour on CT 34 (Roosevelt Drive) in Oxford and Monroe

FirstLight Hydro Generating Company (FirstLight) is announcing the closure and detour of traffic on CT 34 (Roosevelt Drive) in both directions at the Stevenson Dam, located at the Oxford / Monroe town line, from 6:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2015, until 12:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. The closure and traffic detour is necessary to perform maintenance work on the tainter gates on the Stevenson Dam. In an effort to minimize the impact to the public, most of the work will be done throughout the weekend.
