Nighttime Amtrak Bridge Replacement in Branford; Detour Required
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Amtrak Bridge over U.S. Route 1 in Branford is scheduled to be lifted, moved and set into its final position overnight, July 27-28. U.S. Route 1 will be temporarily closed to through traffic for this move of the bridge between the hours of 9 p.m. Saturday July 27, until noon on Sunday July 28, 2013.
