The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 North in Stamford, Monday night, October 7, through Friday morning, October 11, 2019. Work hours will be 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The project consists of parapet repairs on the I-95 North Bridge #00032 over Metro-North in Stamford.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation's 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs being performed by state forces.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 North between Exit 9 (Glenbrook) and Exit 7 (Atlantic St.) in Stamford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am. (Monday through Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
