The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Milford, Monday night, October 7, through Friday morning, October 11, 2019.
The project consists of Emergency Concrete Full Depth Deck Repairs on the I-95 North and South
Bridge #00153 over I-95 in Milford.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation's 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs being performed by Hammonasset Construction.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 North and South between Exit 40 (Old Gate Rd./Woodmont Rd.) in Milford and Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Rd.) in Orange. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00pm to 5:00am. (Monday through Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
