CTDOT eAlert: Construction News from the Connecticut Department of Transportation
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on a 0.47-mile section of Route 34 east and west in West Haven, Monday August 12, through Friday, September 13, 2019.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation's safety improvement program and is being performed by Atlas Industrial Services.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Route 34 East and West between Elizabeth Street and Central Avenue in West Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
No lane closures will occur from 6:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 03, 2019.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
