The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed onI-95 northbound in New London, Monday, September 30, through Friday, October 11, 2019.
The project consists of concrete repair on I-95 northbound Bridge #03819 (Thames River overpass) in New London.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation's Bridge Maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Hammonasset Construction, LLC.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Interstate 95 Northbound from Exit 82 to Exit 85 in the towns r789of Waterford, New London and Groton. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
