Nighttime Resurfacing on I-395 in Putnam

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project  will continue on I-395 northbound and southbound in Putnam through Wednesday October 16, 2019.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.80 mile segment of the highway.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2019 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on I-395 Northbound and Southbound from the Killingly Town Line to the Thompson Town Line in Putnam.  Two state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  This is a nighttime project.  The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
