CTDOT eAlert: Construction and Maintenance News from the Connecticut DOT
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime attenuator upgrade project will be performed on I-291 Westbound in Windsor, beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
The project consists of upgrading an existing attenuator on the I-291 Westbound, Exit 2B off ramp gore area. This work is scheduled to occur from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2020 to the morning of Thursday, March 26, 2020.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect shoulder closures on I-291 Westbound in the vicinity of the
Exit 2B off ramp in Windsor. Truck Mounted Attenuators, signing patterns and State Police will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for upgrading the guiderail is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity
