Micro-Milling on Route 2 in Marlborough and Glastonbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling project will be performed on Route 2 westbound from .95 miles west of the access from Route 66 to .46 miles east of the access from Neipsic Road in Marlborough and Glastonbury, beginning Monday, September 28, 2020.

The project consists of micro milling segments of 6.85 miles of Route 2 westbound from .95 miles west of the access from Route 66 to .46 miles east of the access from Neipsic Road in Marlborough and Glastonbury. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Monday, September 28, 2020 to Wednesday, October 1, 2020.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 2 westbound from .95 miles west of the access from Route 66 to .46 miles east of the access from Neipsic Road in Marlborough and Glastonbury. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
