The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a safety improvement project will continue on Route 34 East and West in West Haven through Friday, October 16, 2020.
This project consists of guiderail with attenuator installation on a 0.63 mile segment of Route 34 East and West in West Haven.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Route 34 East and West between Elizabeth Street and Central Avenue in West Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
