Rumble Strips to be added on Route 32 in Willington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the installation of a centerline rumble strip on Route 32 in Willington on Monday, May 18, 2020.

The project consists of the milling of bituminous concrete to add a centerline rumble strip on Route 32 in Willington.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 32 from 200 feet north of Route 74 (Tolland Turnpike) to the Tolland town line. Truck mounted attenuators, Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
