CTDOT eAlert: Construction & Maintenance News from CTDOT
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that as part of its regular bridge maintenance project, asphaltic plug-joints will be installed at night on Interstate 91 to the Interstate 95 Southbound ramp in New Haven.
This project consists of the installation of the plug-joints on Bridge No. 00169 on Interstate 95 Southbound in New Haven. This work is scheduled to occur Tuesday, September 8, 2020 through Friday, October 2, 2020.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2020 Bridge Maintenance Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Interstate 91 Southbound between Exit 3 & Interstate 95 Southbound and on Interstate 95 Southbound between Interstate 91 Southbound & Interstate 95 Southbound Exit 46 in New Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or otherunforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
