CTDOT eAlert: Construction & Maintenance News from CTDOT
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the nighttime installation of a centerline rumble strip on Route 83 in Ellington on Friday, September 11, 2020.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 83 (Somers Road) from the south junction of Route 140 (Maple Street) to1,000 feet south of Strawberry Road. Truck mounted attenuators, Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
