Bridge Maintenance on I-91 in North Haven and Wallingford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will continue on I-91 northbound and southbound in North Haven and Wallingford through Thursday, July 17, 2020.

 

The project consists of asphaltic joint repairs to the I-91 northbound and South Bridge #'s 03115 over Amtrak, 03117A over Rt.5, 003116 over Amtrak, and 03121 over Pond Hill Rd. in North Haven and Wallingford.  This project is scheduled to occur the morning of Wednesday June 17, 2020 to the evening of Thursday, July 17, 2020.

 

The work is included in the Department of Transportation's 2020 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-91 North and South between Exit 11 (Rt.22) and Exit 14 (Woodhouse Ave.) in North Haven and Wallingford.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00am to 4:00pm.  (Monday mornings through Friday evenings).

 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
