The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project is being performed on State Road 534 (Camp Meeting Road) in Bolton from the Manchester town line to Route 85, and Route 85 from State Road 534 (Camp Meeting Road) to Bolton Center Road, through Tuesday July 28, 2020.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.40-mile segment of SR534 in Bolton from the Manchester town line to Route 85 and Route 85 from SR534 (Camp Meeting Road) to Bolton Center Road. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Thursday, July 9, 2020 to Wednesday, July 15, 2020. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Thursday, July 16, 2020 to Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2020 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on SR534 in Bolton from the Manchester town line to Route 85 and Route 85 from SR534 (Camp Meeting Road) to Bolton Center Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
