Nighttime Resurfacing along Route 113 in Stratford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 113 in Stratford – Sunday, July 19, through Friday, August 14, 2020.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 2.29 miles of Route 113 in Stratford.  This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, July 19, 2020 through Friday, August 14, 2020.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 19, 2020 through Wednesday, July 29, 2020.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, August 2, 2020 through Friday, August 14, 2020.

     This project is included in the Department of Transportation's 2020 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 113 from .03 mile north of drive to Sikorsky Airport to US 1 (Barnum Avenue).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
